Will The Boss Rock Touchdown Jesus?
This image was lost some time after publication. We keep hearing about all these rumors, so since we are who we are, we might as well publish them. Whispers abound all around South Bend that tomorrow's pep rally for the Notre Dame game against the undefeated USC Trojans — recently moved from the Joyce Center to Notre Dame Stadium — will feature an appearance by Bruce Springsteen. This site has it from "secretaries in the alumni office" and this one says Jon Bon Jovi could be involved. Springsteen is actually in Chicago today and Madison, Wis., on Saturday, so he could, hypothetically, have a day to head over and, we dunno, head to South Bend and rock out to beat the Trojans.
And, as you can tell, Notre Dame hasn't had a truly huge home game in a while. Whole campus turns into a sewing circle. Same thing happens at our mom's Catholic church, too.
