Wladimir Klitschko vs. Tony Thompson Open Thread

Wladimir Klitschko and Tony Thompson are readying to square off in Hamburg (in Color Line Arena, no less) for the heavyweight title on HBO. Ukraine's Klitschko is the heavy favorite, but D.C. native Thompson (whose back story was sufficiently limned by this insidious rag) has the power and size, if not necessarily the experience, to give him a fight. The two sparred five years ago in the same location, with Thompson realizing he had a ways to go to reach Klitschko's level, but the 36-year-old has a 27 win streak going, albeit mostly against no-names.

I know fuck all about boxing (someone get Unsilent Majority to put down the vaporizer!), so you wise people may chatter away amongst yourselves for the duration of this event. Or even visit Fanhouse's live blog. (Sorry Denton!)
