Wolves keep rolling as Grizzlies drop to 0-8 at home

Minnesota never trailed on its way to a lead of as many as 26 points. The Timberwolves took control with an 18-4 second-quarter run during which the Grizzlies endured a scoreless drought of almost four minutes.
Memphis, which has lost all eight of its home games, could not get the deficit to fewer than 16 points until midway through the fourth quarter.
The Grizzlies pulled to within 12 points with less than six minutes remaining on consecutive 3-pointers by Jaren Jackson Jr. and Desmond Bane, but Minnesota responded with a quick eight points to push the lead back to 20.
Every Minnesota player who saw action scored, with five reaching double-figures. Mike Conley shot 6-of-9 from 3-point range, leading to the Wolves' 15-of-34 shooting (44.1 percent) from the beyond arc, and finished with 18 points.
Conley also dished a game-high 10 assists.
Karl-Anthony Towns scored 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the floor and grabbed eight rebounds. Rudy Gobert added 13 points and Naz Reid came off the bench for 12 points and six rebounds.
Kyle Anderson, Shake Milton and Troy Brown Jr. each scored six points in reserve duty.
Jackson led Memphis with 18 points and three blocks, Bane scored 13 and Santi Aldama had 14 points with a team-high seven rebounds.
Derrick Rose, David Roddy and Ziaire Williams all scored in double-figures off the bench for the Grizzlies, with Rose going for 12 and Roddy and Williams each adding 11.
Rose matched Bane with a team-high four assists.
Coming in off a loss Friday against Sacramento, Minnesota has yet to lose consecutive games and has won 11 of its last 13.
