WR Keon Coleman latest FSU star skipping Orange Bowl

Florida State wide receiver Keon Coleman became the latest Seminoles player to opt out of this month's Orange Bowl, 247Sports reported Thursday.
Coleman, who had 50 catches for 658 yards and 11 touchdowns in his first season with Florida State after transferring from Michigan State, is set to enter the 2024 NFL Draft.
In two seasons at Michigan State and one at Florida State, Coleman has 115 catches for 1,506 yards and 19 touchdowns in 34 games.
Also electing not to play in the Orange Bowl against Georgia are running back Trey Benson, wide receiver Johnny Wilson, tight end Jaheim Bell, defensive end Jared Verse and defensive lineman Fabien Lovett.
No. 5 Florida State is 13-0 this season and won the ACC Championship Game but was not invited to the College Football Playoff semifinals after quarterback Jordan Travis saw his season end with a leg injury Nov. 18.
Michigan, Alabama, Washington and Texas were selected to participate in the CFP semifinals. Alabama and Texas each have one loss.
