LA Knight kicked off Money in the Bank and sought the title that’s eluded him his whole career. Fans chanted his catchphrases before World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns' theme song hit. Knight understood his assignment, as did every WWE fan around the world. He was going to be another victim of WWE/TKO’s booking, and he was. He had the best match of his career with an amazing BFT to counter Reigns’ spear, a spear of his own, and a Burning Hammer. However, he lost clean, and 946 (Royce Keys and OTM) made their presence known in the crowd. The Bloodline confronted them, and a preview of Survivor Series Wargames ensued. They brawled through the concourse until Jaida Parker appeared in a car and 946 hit the road.

Money in the Bank is one of the most anticipated PLE’s on the WWE calendar. Two superstars are keeping the champions on their toes with their briefcases. Now fans are furious, and the future looks very uncertain for plenty of superstars.

The 2026 Miss and Mr. Money in the Bank winners are Tiffany Stratton and Penta. Stratton is a 2x MITB winner on the women’s side, while Penta strengthens WWE and AAA’s partnership.

In the women’s MITB match, every competitor had their fifteen minutes of fame. The outcome was spoiled when Tiffany Stratton hit a Swanton bomb off the ladder, and her head hit the mat. She would’ve been stretchered out, but they kept her going. At least Lash Legend looked like a wrecking ball. Despite being targeted at the start, she showcased her strength and size.

Meanwhile, Sol Ruca is tailor-made for this type of match. Her frog splash to Lash Legend through two ladders, followed by a Sol Snatcher off a ladder, was a beauty. Her athleticism is off the charts, but she needs to polish her promo skills.

Despite Lola Vice getting called up recently, she showed her MMA and Taekwondo background here with fierce strikes. Jacy Jayne felt like the outlier since she’s already the champion. However, Jayne could have the briefcase in years to come. She’s destined to be the top female heel very soon.

Morgan reclaimed her title in the worst match of the night against Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch. On the bright side, Judgment Day didn’t interfere. Lynch yanked the referee Jessica Carr out of the ring to prevent a pinfall. Lynch and Vaquer are rumored to feud without the title involved. These three didn’t click the entire match, and the outcome didn’t help either.

Onto the men’s side of things. Bronson Reed lost to Oba Femi despite interference from tag champs Logan Paul and Austin Theory. Femi is the first superstar to kick out of the Tsunami, and brass knuckles didn’t faze him. Where the Vision goes from here is anyone’s guess, but Bronson Reed looks incredible.

Breakker was one of the favorites to win the men’s Money in the Bank, and had a breakout performance. He hit spear after spear after spear, and put Jevon Evans on a stretcher after a spear into the barricade. Then Evans returned for a questionable ladder spot off through the ambulance. CM Punk and Kevin Owen’s hatred for each other cost them the match. Lil Yachty had the best seat in the house at ringside, and got involved with Trick in a few spots.

Penta was the odds-on favorite and won. He hit a Mexican Destroyer off the ladder onto another one during the match. Let’s hope he cashes in on Sami Zayn because no one wants him to fail against Roman Reigns.

Here are a few takeaways from MITB. Tiffany Stratton didn’t need a briefcase to turn heel on Chelsea Green when Perez could’ve won and betrayed Liv Morgan.

Perhaps Perez wins the Royal Rumble and beats Liv Morgan at WrestleMania 43. Can we put any belt on LA Knight and get Bron Breakker out of the Vision immediately? Also, why were there no singles matches featuring SmackDown superstars on this show?

Money in the Bank didn’t live up to the expectations of fans and left them wondering when they’ll pull the trigger on rising stars. Up next is Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on November 7th, and WWE’s forecast is cloudy, to say the least. Buckle up, everyone, and remember 946’s motto: ‘Ain’t nobody safe.’
