Yankees Pitcher Knocked Out Of Game After Taking Line Drive To The Face [UPDATE]
Bryan Mitchell’s second start of 2015 came to a quick ending as the Yankees pitcher took an Eduardo Nuñez liner in the face and was forced to leave the game.
Mitchell, usually a reliever, took the spot start to allow the Yankees’ rotation to get an extra day of rest. He left the field bleeding, and his condition is not yet known.
