Yasiel Puig's Cousin Will Drive Him Around For Now
With two incidents of reckless driving in eight months, Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig will apparently not drive any cars for the near future. Since Puig still has places to go, his cousin will be his hired chauffeur.
After Puig was arrested in December for reportedly driving 110 miles per hour on I-75, he met with Dodgers president Stan Kasten, telling Kasten that his cousin will transport him around for now so he doesn't get into any more legal trouble. The team doesn't want their young star getting fast and furious during the season and possibly missing games.
It may suck for the 23-year-old to have a constant chaperone, but his cousin, on the other hand, has such an easy gig. Drive Yasiel Puig around in his nice car(s) while being paid for it? Sounds good.
