Adam Yates was leading a big charge at the end of yesterday’s Tour de France stage before the course decided he wasn’t worthy of passage to the finish line at Lac de Payolle. Tour organizers later decided to retroactively count his position from two kilometers ahead, which put the 23-year-old Briton in second place overall.
