Your Gold Cup Finals Open Thread
At stake in tonight's Gold Cup final between the soccer teams of the United States of America and Mexico is a berth in the 2013 Confederation Cup. And bragging rights. And all that. Granted, the USA pretty much dominates El Tri in the land of the free, but Mexico's got itself a worthy side. Then again, it sure seems like the Americans are peaking at the right time from an eye-of-the-tiger standpoint.
Collectively, the two sides have won nine of the last 10 Gold Cups. Match starts at 8:30 p.m. eastern. Megutthinks the U.S. wins 3-1 tonight. Rock, flag and eagle.
