Yu Darvish Is Just Toying With Batters Now

You might think this clip came straight out of a Gas-House Gorillas-Tea Totallers game, but it only looks like a cartoon. Yu Darvish so thoroughly confounded Trevor Plouffe with this lazy curveball that he began his swing on Thursday.

It's about the context with pitching and Plouffe was fucked from Jump Street. He faced three pitches during that fifth-inning at-bat and they were, in order, an 80 mph slider, a 94-mph fastball and the 61-mph curveball you see above.

Darvish owned the Twins for much of the game and brought a no-hitter into the seventh inning, where things fell apart. He gave up a game-tying two-run home run to Chris Herrmann and later lost the lead on Justin Morneau solo shot. Darvish was finally chased with a double from Plouffe.
