100 Thieves advance in LTA North Split 3 playoffs

Jordan Woodruff In a dominant effort, 100 Thieves swept Team Liquid on Saturday to advance to the lower-bracket semifinal in the League of Legends' Championship of The Americas North 2025 Split 3 at Los Angeles.
Playoff matches are best-of-five. The top three teams will qualify for the LoL Championship of The Americas, scheduled for Sept. 13-28 in Allen, Texas, and the winner qualifies for the World Championship that begins Oct. 14 in China.
In the lower-bracket quarterfinals, 100 Thieves rolled past Team Liquid 3-0, winning in 35, 36 and 33 minutes, all on red.
South Korean Hyeon-seung "Quid" Lim of 100 Thieves was selected the match's Most Valuable Player after recording an overall 20-3-30 kill-death-assist ratio.
The lower-bracket semifinal on Sept. 5 will match 100 Thieves with Cloud9, who outlasted Disguised 3-2 on Friday.
The upper-bracket final is scheduled for Sunday between Shopify Rebellion and FlyQuest. The winner advances to the grand final on Sept. 7 against the lower-bracket final winner, which will be determined Sept. 6.
The loser between Shopify Rebellion and Flyquest drops to the lower-bracket final.
