50 Cent Challenges Floyd Mayweather To Read For Charity
Floyd Mayweather has been beefing with numerous rappers of late. He fought T.I. at a Fatburger in Las Vegas in May. Nelly blasted Mayweather for being a high school dropout on ESPN, and he's also dating Mayweather's ex-fiancée. But no beef has been more entertaining than Mayweather's fallout with former friend 50 Cent.
Mayweather started the latest round, accusing the trio of rappers of riding his coattails for publicity today:
"What's so crazy is this: You know, when people are not relevant, and they're not moving units like they were once moving ... you've got to realize, I've been relevant for 18 years," Mayweather said. "God has blessed me with an unbelievable talent, with fast feet, fast hands, unbelievable defense and a very, very sharp mind. So I'm thankful for that. Of course, hip-hop artists, they come and go. They come and go. But I'm still here."
50 Cent caught wind of the comments and posted this Instagram video, the latest in a series of shots against Mayweather:
But 50 wasn't done. He followed up by challenging Mayweather to read one page of a Harry Potter book—with no screwups—in exchange for a $750,000 donation to charity in an "ALS/ESL (correction: he actually said "ASL/ELS) Challenge":
Well, it's for a good cause.
Oh, and here is 50's prediction of how the challenge will unfold:
DAMN I CAN'T READ THAT WHOLE PAGE NOW. fuck you 50, Lmao
