Young Philip Rivers Did Not Make Funny Faces, Apparently Wanted To Play For The Bears

"I discovered I went to elementary school with Phillip [sic] Rivers (he's 2 years older)," wrote commenter Gottliebs Cards. "If anyone is interested I'll scan some pics." Interested? You bet your ass we're mildly kind of halfway interested.

Rivers attended Gordon-Bibb Elementary School in Decatur, Ala., and as you can see from the photos below, he was still years away from perfecting the various facial contortions that have made him the NFL's most photoshoppable quarterback. Click to enlarge.

Even at that tender age, Rivers knew — he wanted to play football for the C. Bears on their dangerously lopsided field.
