76ers bring in 7-foot-6 Tacko Fall, 2 others

The Philadelphia 76ers signed three players including 7-foot-6 center Tacko Fall, the team announced on Tuesday.

Guard Jameer Nelson Jr. and forward Saint Thomas also signed contracts, with the team not disclosing terms.

Fall, 30, played last season for the Ningbo Rockets of the Chinese Basketball Association. The Senegal native averaged 2.2 points, 2.4 rebounds and 6.2 minutes in 37 games (one start) over parts of three seasons with the Boston Celtics (2019-21) and Cleveland Cavaliers (2021-22).

Nelson, 25, averaged 18.9 points, 3.4 assists, 3.0 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 25.3 minutes in 25 games last season for the Stockton Kings of the G League. He is the son of Jameer Nelson, 44, who played 14 years in the NBA for six different teams from 2004-18. The elder Nelson is executive vice president of basketball operations for the Sixers.

Thomas, 23, averaged 12.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 36 games last season for Philadelphia's G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats. He played in four games for the 76ers' 2026 Summer League team and averaged 4.5 points, 4.2 boards and 15.5 minutes.
