Aces' A'ja Wilson (wrist) questionable to play against Mystics

Mandatory Credit: Wendell Cruz-Imagn Images The Las Vegas Aces might be without A'ja Wilson for Thursday's game at the Washington Mystics because of a right wrist injury she suffered Tuesday against the New York Liberty.
Wilson underwent an MRI on her wrist Wednesday morning after landing on it following a layup attempt during the 87-78 loss to the Liberty. The Aces have listed her as questionable to play against the Mystics.
The injury occurred halfway through the second quarter. Wilson remained on the court briefly before taking a seat for the rest of the game.
"She absolutely does not want to sit out or go out of the game, but then there's a reality of physicality that happens out there," said Las Vegas coach Becky Hammon. "Big picture, our season is bigger than just this one game, so we want to make sure she's not putting herself at any risk of injuring anything or damaging anything."
Jackie Young had 19 points and seven rebounds and Chelsea Gray posted 11 points and seven rebounds to pace the Aces, but they each had five turnovers against the Liberty.
The Aces and Mystics carry the same record (9-10) into their game, but they're moving in different directions. Las Vegas has lost three of its last five games, but Washington has won four of its last six.
Washington is coming off an 81-79 win Tuesday over the Chicago Sky at George Mason University's campus in Fairfax County, Va.
Shakira Austin scored a team-high 15 points in 24 minutes, including a go-ahead layup with 22 seconds left. After the Sky forged another tie, Austin hit two free throws with 2.8 seconds remaining to earn the win.
Kiki Iriafen had 11 points and 10 rebounds and Sonia Citron finished with 13 points and eight rebounds. They're the first pair of rookie teammates to be selected to the WNBA All-Star Game since 1999.
"Just not feeling confident in myself when coming in this level, to have this success early, is definitely something that I am proud of myself for overcoming," Iriafen said. "Seeing myself now as an All-Star, it doesn't even feel real coming out of my mouth. It's a blessing."
