Ah Geez, Steph Curry Sprained His Ankle Again
Photo credit: Marcio Jose Sanchez/ [object Object] It wasn’t so long ago that Steph Curry’s ankles were an existential threat to his career. They were constantly giving out and forcing Curry to miss significant playing time with sprains. But then a successful surgery and an improved training regimen helped him shed the “injury-prone” label, and he became a two-time NBA champion and one of the best players in the league.
So there wasn’t too much to worry about when Curry missed some time this season with a right ankle sprain. Shit happens. He’s played at least 78 games in each of the last five seasons, and he’s very much been Steph The Destroyer since returning to the lineup on Dec. 30. But today brought reports that Curry had slipped at shoot around and rolled his ankle, and now there’s this:
It’s fine! I’m sure he’s fine! No reason to worry about a guy with a history of chronic ankle injuries re-injuring himself while participating in a routine shoot around. Everything is probably fine!
