Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sports The previously scheduled fight between Alex Perez and Tagir Ulanbekov has been rebooked for UFC Fight Night on June 15, according to multiple reports.
The flyweight fight was added back to the upcoming card at UFC Apex in Las Vegas just three days after Perez knocked out Matheus Nicolau on short notice on Saturday.
It will be the third fight of 2024 for Perez (25-8 MMA, 7-4 UFC), who had just one fight over the previous four years. He lost a unanimous decision to unbeaten Muhammad Mokaev in March before returning to knock out Nicolau in the main event of UFC Vegas 91.
Ulanbekov (15-2, 4-1) has won his past two fights by submission over Nate Maness and Cody Durden.
The Perez-Ulanbekov fight had originally been canceled after Perez stepped in against Nicolau, but is now back on after Perez came out of Saturday's fight healthy.
