Angels reinstate INF Luis Rengifo from injured list

Mandatory Credit: David Richard-USA TODAY Sports The Los Angeles Angels reinstated infielder Luis Rengifo from the 10-day injured list on Thursday.
Rengifo, 27, had been sidelined with a viral illness that resulted in painful blisters on his feet.
He is batting .330 with two homers, 11 RBIs and nine steals in 28 games this season, his sixth with the Angels.
Rengifo is a career .249 hitter with 49 homers, 168 RBIs and 27 stolen bases in 476 games since his 2019 debut.
The Angels optioned infielder Niko Goodrum and right-hander Davis Daniel to Triple-A Salt Lake after Wednesday's 7-2 win against the St. Louis Cardinals.
