Arike Ogunbowale scores 40 as Wings cool off Mercury

Dallas stopped its two-game losing streak and Phoenix's three-game winning streak.
Ogunbowale reached 400 made 3-pointers in her career when she converted her sixth shot from beyond the arc.
She reached the milestone in 161 games, second to Diana Taurasi (158 games).
Ogunbowale, who had seven rebounds, four assists and four steals, also made 11 of 12 free-throw attempts.
Maddy Siegrist had a career-high 22 points with nine rebounds and four assists.
Monique Billings added 18 points and eight rebounds.
Phoenix's Khaleah Copper reached 3,000 career points with a 3-pointer late in the third quarter.
She is at 3,008 after finishing with 32 points.
Taurasi scored 28 points.
Natasha Cloud had nine points and 12 assists.
Dallas went on a 21-3 run to take a 29-14 lead with 8:09 left in the second quarter.
The Wings led 52-35 at halftime behind Ogunbowale's 15 points, five rebounds and two assists.
Phoenix, playing without Brittney Griner (foot), was outscored 24-8 in the paint in the first half.
The Mercury, outrebounded 38-25, were outscored in the paint 52-26 by the Wings.
Dallas built a 67-43 lead with 6:44 left in the third quarter before Phoenix made a push behind Taurasi.
The Mercury went on a 10-2 run, fueled by Taurasi's five points, including a 3-pointer, to cut the lead to 69-53 with 4:50 remaining in the third quarter.
Dallas went on a scoring drought after taking a 72-53 lead with 3:59 remaining in third quarter.
Phoenix scored 13 unanswered points, including the last eight by Copper, to cut the lead to 72-66 with 55.7 seconds left in the quarter.
After scoring 35 points in the first half, the Mercury had 34 in the third quarter and trailed 76-69 going into the fourth quarter.
Copper had 12 points in the third quarter and Taurasi contributed 11.
After the Mercury cut the lead to 76-72 with 9:14 remaining, Dallas pulled away with an 11-2 run.
Ogunbowale's layup with 6:26 remaining gave Dallas an 87-74 lead.
