Arkansas freshman Boogie Fland (hand) likely out for season

Arkansas freshman guard Boogie Fland is expected to miss the rest of the season with a hand injury.
Fland, a projected lottery pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, was injured Jan. 11 in a loss to Florida when he landed on the court and teammate Billy Richmond III inadvertently came down on Fland's hand.
Fland attempted to play in the Razorbacks' next two games but was a combined 8-for-30 shooting.
Head coach John Calipari said Arkansas would "make sure we get that thing right" when asked about the injury last week.
CBS Sports first reported Fland would be shut down for the season.
"His hand is pretty bad. Don't know what we'll do going forward," Calipari said Saturday.
Originally recruiting to Kentucky by Calipari, Fland followed the coach to Fayetteville along with multiple transfers from the Wildcats. He flourished and is averaging 15.1 points, 5.7 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game.
Without Fland, the Razorbacks are likely to give the ball to transfers D.J. Wagner and Johnell Davis. Davis is averaging nearly 30 minutes per game but has more turnovers (27) than assists (23).
Wagner is averaging 10.1 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.
Fland was already ruled out for Wednesday's game against Georgia (14-4) after scoring four points Saturday in an 83-65 loss against Missouri, a fifth consecutive defeat for Arkansas. The Razorbacks (11-7) are 0-5 in the SEC.
