Astralis, FURIA, NAVI advance at PGL Astana

FURIA, Natus Vincere and Astralis advanced to the playoffs with wins Tuesday at the PGL Astana 2025 tournament.

In Round 4 High Matches, FURIA swept ODDIK, NAVI swept Aurora Gaming and Astralis defeated Virtus.pro 2-1.

In Round 4 Low Matches, Ninjas in Pyjamas, G2 Esports and MIBR stayed alive with sweeps against HOTU, BIG and paiN Gaming, respectively.

The Counter-Strike 2 tournament features a $625,000 prize pool, with first place worth $200,000 and second place $93,750.

The group stage began Saturday featuring 16 teams in a Swiss system format. All matches are best-of-three and the top eight proceed to the playoffs that begin on Friday.

The playoffs will take place at Barys Arena in Astana, Kazakhstan, a single-elimination bracket with teams seeded by group stage rankings. All matches are best-of-three except for Sunday's grand final, which is a best-of-five.

On Tuesday, FURIA defeated ODDIK 13-7 on Anubis and 13-6 on Train. NAVI beat Aurora 13-11 on Train and 13-10 on Inferno. Astralis wrapped a 19-17 win on Dust II and a 13-9 decision on Ancient around VP's 13-9 win on Inferno.

Ninjas eliminated HOTU with a 13-10 win on Ancient and a 13-7 win on Nuke. G2 bounced BIG with a 13-7 victory on Dust II and a 13-4 win on Mirage. MIBR ousted paiN Gaming by scores of 13-7 on Train and 13-8 on Mirage.
