Astros option RHP Kai-Wei Teng, recall RHP Miguel Ullola

The Houston Astros optioned right-handed reliever Kai-Wei Teng to Triple-A Sugar Land and recalled right-handed reliever Miguel Ullola from Sugar Land on Sunday.

Teng, 27, is 5-7 this season with a 4.76 ERA in 30 appearances (10 starts). He allowed at least one run in each of his last three outings.

Ullola, 24, is 0-0 with a 4.50 ERA in four appearances for Houston. In six innings, he has allowed three runs on four hits, with nine strikeouts and one walk.

At Sugar Land, Ullola was converted from a starter to a reliever, compiling a 5-4 record with a 4.21 ERA across 66 1/3 innings in 39 appearances (10 starts) this season.
