Atlanta United acquire Colombian M Steven Alzate

Mandatory Credit: Kelley L Cox-Imagn Images Atlanta United acquired Colombian midfielder Steven Alzate from English second-tier side Hull City on Monday.
Alzate, 26, arrives on a reported $2 million transfer fee and is under contract through the 2030 season.
"We're excited to sign Steven and look forward to welcoming him to the club and the city of Atlanta," said chief soccer officer and sporting director Chris Henderson. "He's a technical midfielder, shows good quality on the ball in possession, and brings experience from multiple leagues in Europe."
Alzate has 12 goals and 18 assists in 172 appearances for clubs in England (Leyton Orient, Brighton & Hove Albion, Swindon Town and Hull City) and Belgium (Standard Liege).
