Carlos Alcaraz continued to show his former top-ranked form at the Erste Bank Open in Vienna, Austria.

The Spaniard, who will continue to be ranked No. 3 behind Italy's Jannik Sinner and Germany's Alexander Zverev on Monday, routed Australian Alex de Minaur, 6-1, 6-4 on Sunday to capture his second ATP 500 title in his last three tournament appearances.

Alcaraz did not drop a set all week in Vienna and won his 28th career title.

De Minaur, who advanced to the finals with a win over Zverev, struggled on Sunday, committing 25 unforced errors and producing only 13 winners.

Alcaraz raced out to a 4-0 lead in the first set and broke serve for the third time to capture the first set in 37 minutes. Serving at 4-5, 30-all in the second set, the Aussie dropped consecutive points and fell to 0-7 all-time vs. Alcaraz.

Monaco's Valentin Vacherot secured his first ATP 500-level tour title, rallying from a set down to defeat eighth-seeded Czech Jiri Lehecka, 2-6, 6-3, 6-3.

Vacherot burst onto the scene at the 2025 Shanghai Masters, an ATP 1000 event, winning nine matches including a semifinal victory over Novak Djokovic to win the championship. But he has experienced an uneven 2026 season, posting a 24-18 mark. He did reach the semifinals in Tokyo five weeks ago, before falling in straight sets to Lehecka.

It looked the like result would be the same, as Vacherot played poorly in the first set, making 14 unforced errors and winning only 11 of 29 service points.

But he broke Lehecka in the fourth game of the second set and fought off two break points to send the match to a decider. He continued the surge, breaking the Czech in the first game of the third and closed out the match with another break.
