Fritz overcame an early break in the opening set and finished the match in 88 minutes, following up his previous triumphs at the ATP 250 grass-court event in 2019, 2022 and 2024.
Fritz fired eight aces and saved six of seven break points to improve to 2-1 against Brooksby. Paired with his win on grass earlier this month at Stuttgart, Fritz enters Wimbledon with momentum on his side.
Mallorca Championships
Fourth-seeded Tallon Griekspoor finished off a perfect week in Spain with a 7-5, 7-6 (3) victory in the final against Frenchman Corentin Moutet.
Griekspoor did not lose a set en route to his first title since June 2023 in his native Netherlands. He saved all four break points he faced in the 1-hour, 56-minute win against Moutet.
At 28, Griekspoor became the tournament's oldest champion. In hot conditions Saturday, he collected the only service break of the match in the final game of the first set.
