Avalanche move Jack Drury to Predators for 2 former first-round picks

Downing-Imagn Images The Colorado Avalanche acquired forwards Fedor Svechkov and Zachary L'Heureux from the Nashville Predators on Wednesday for center Jack Drury, minor league forward Chase Bradley and a 2029 third-round pick.
Drury, 26, boasts the most NHL experience of the quartet. He has amassed 30 goals and 52 assists in 268 regular-season games for the Carolina Hurricanes (2021-24) and Avalanche (2025-26), which included appearing in all 82 games for Colorado this season.
Svechkov, 23, was a first-round pick by Nashville in 2021 and posted 12 goals and 22 assists in 122 games for the Predators the last two seasons.
L'Heureux, 23, also was selected by Nashville in the first round of the 2021 draft. He provided five goals and 10 assists over 62 games in 2024-25, then contributed four goals and one assist in 25 games for the Predators this season as he spent more of the season with the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals.
Bradley, 24, appeared in two games for the Avalanche in 2024-25. Otherwise, his pro career has consisted of 23 goals and 11 assists in 104 regular-season games for the AHL Colorado Eagles.
