Baltimore Ravens At New England Patriots: Your AFC Championship Game Open Thread
We only have three more of these left and by day's end, just one. Let's cherish our time down in the comments.
Baltimore at New England (CBS): If you'll recall, because I don't believe anyone has mentioned it yet, the Ravens went in to Foxboro two years ago and beat the Patriots in the wild card round. Two years in NFL years is like 45 in dog years, though. The Pats did not have Wes Welker for that game, nor did they have "Gronk" or Aaron Hernandez. This year? They'll just be without Ochocinco.
Meanwhile, the Ravens have to deal with the fragile psyche of Joe Flacco. Just kidding, he's fine. it's just, much to the consternation of those in the quarterback evaluating business, he's not Tom Brady. So, he still needs to prove he's a winner. Got that?
Anyway, this game figures to be might against might. Is the Patriots offense better than the Ravens defense? Or put another way, can the Patriots defense play not as terribly as everyone thinks?
