Bears vs. Commanders Monday Night Football Week 6 Betting Predictions
The Washington Commanders will host the Chicago Bears in the second game on Monday night. Washington’s dealt with significant injuries, but they still boast a 3-2 record on the season. Chicago flashed at times under a new coach in 2025, recording a 2-2 record thus far.
The Commanders feature one of the better offenses in the NFL. They’re averaging the fifth-most points (.462) per play, even with Marcus Mariota finding time at quarterback. Overall, Washington is averaging a healthy 26.8 points per game.
The Bears aren’t quite up to par with the opponents, but they’ve found solid offensive success in 2025. They rank 14th in the NFL, averaging .407 points per play. They rank slightly behind Washington, averaging 25.3 points per game.
The difference between these teams comes on the defensive side of the ball. Washington also has a high-end defense, ranking seventh in points allowed (.320) per play. Chicago, on the other hand, is allowing a league-high .518 points per play.

The Commanders continue to deal with significant injuries, but I’m not sure they’re going to matter as much in this matchup. Terry McLaurin has already been ruled out, and that’s a huge loss for Washington. Deebo Samuel is also questionable.
The identity of Washington is to run the ball, though. They’re going to use Jayden Daniels and their running backs to find as much success on the ground as possible. Chicago is allowing a league-high 6.1 yards per carry this season, and there’s very little reason to believe they’re going to slow the Commanders down on the ground.
Washington is also going to be playing at home this week. We have a very limited sample size, but they’ve looked outstanding at home in 2025. Granted, those matchups were against the New York Giants and Las Vegas Raiders, but they’re winning their home games by an average of 16 points per game.
I’m also not overly concerned about a wider spread because of the pace of this game. The Commanders have been pushing the pace throughout their games, ranking sixth in the NFL in seconds per play. Chicago doesn’t play as fast, but they still rank 15th in the same category, and they’ll likely play slightly faster if Washington gets a reasonable lead.
Overall, I’m trusting the home team in a plus matchup. Chicago doesn’t have the defense to keep up with this Washington offense, and they should be able to run the ball to sustain consistent drives deep in Chicago territory.
