Bengals vs. Broncos Monday Night Football Week 4 Betting Predictions
The Cincinnati Bengals have struggled early in the 2025 season. They rank 20th in points per play (0.349), but that’s nearly all from one game. Overall, they’ve scored 17 or fewer points in two of their first three games.
Cincinnati’s biggest issue is that Joe Burrow was injured against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jake Browning saw mixed results in relief for him throughout that game. He recorded 241 yards and 2 touchdowns through the air, while adding a touchdown on the ground. He threw 2 interceptions in that game, though.
We have relatively limited information on Browning as a player because he’s consistently been a backup. He’s played 80% or more of the snaps in only 8 games throughout his career. The Bengals are averaging a respectable 21.8 points per game in those contests.
Browning’s only started four road games, though. He posted 34 points in an overtime win against the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2023. He’s struggled in his other road starts, though, scoring 17 or fewer points in each of the three.
The Bengals get a difficult matchup on the road against the Denver Broncos. It’s an extremely difficult atmosphere to play in, especially in primetime.

The Broncos led the NFL, allowing only 0.237 points per play at home in 2024. Overall, they allowed only 14.9 points per game in Denver. Granted, the Broncos were one of the best defenses overall in the NFL in 2024, but they were drastically better at home.
Denver hasn’t flashed the same defense in 2025, but they’ve still found some success. They allowed only 12 points in their only home game this season. That game was against the Tennessee Titans, though, so we have to take it with a grain of salt.
In his only full start this season, Browning struggled against the Minnesota Vikings. The Broncos should use a similar strategy here, where they take Chase Brown out of the game and force Browning to beat them.
We know that the veteran quarterback is prone to mistakes, and he could continue to struggle to lead the offense. The Bengals always have big-play threats with Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins outside, but this is a situation where Denver can key in on very specific targets and force a backup to prove he can consistently make plays.
