Best MLB Home Run Props for Tuesday: Lindor, Judge, Ohtani Among Top Picks
Like any other day that ends in “y,” today is a great day for betting on baseball — or more specifically, MLB home run props. Several of the league’s top hitters are in home run-friendly situations with favorable matchups and parks.
Here are the best home run props for Tuesday, August 19 (odds via FanDuel unless noted).
New York Mets vs. Washington Nationals
Francisco Lindor +400
Nationals starter Jake Irvin is tied for the MLB lead in home runs allowed (27). He has given up four in three starts this month and at least one in four straight outings. Mets hitters have tagged him for four long balls in 116 at-bats, including one from Francisco Lindor.
Lindor is swinging a hot bat in August, hitting .350 with four home runs, a .633 slugging percentage, and a 1.068 OPS in 60 at-bats. He last went deep on Friday vs. the Mariners, when he hit two.
Pick: Lindor +400

New York Yankees vs. Tampa Bay Rays
Aaron Judge +215
Paul Goldschmidt +600
Ben Rice +390
The Yankees are the best home run-hitting team in baseball with a stacked lineup featuring Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, Cody Bellinger, Paul Goldschmidt and Ben Rice.
They face Rays starter Shane Baz, who has allowed 21 homers this season — 13 at home — in a park that has produced 158 home runs in 62 games.
Judge is always the headliner in a matchup like this and has already gone yard against Baz before. Goldschmidt may only have 10 homers this year, but he’s locked in at the plate, batting .444 over the last week. Rice has 18 homers this season and is hitting .316 in his last seven games, making him another strong candidate to leave the yard.
Picks: Judge +215, Goldschmidt +600, Rice +390

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Colorado Rockies
Shohei Ohtani +150
Freddie Freeman +400
The Rockies’ pitching staff leads MLB in home runs allowed (180). Playing at Coors Field only makes matters worse, with the park ranking No. 7 in total home runs this season (166 in 63 games).
Colorado starter Austin Gomber has allowed seven homers at home, but opposing hitters are batting .354 against him in Denver.
Ohtani is one of seven players to homer in the past week and owns a .300 average in that stretch. He’s also hit two homers off Gomber in his career. Freeman homered Sunday against San Diego and is batting .375 lifetime against Gomber with two home runs.
Picks: Ohtani +150, Freeman +400
