Best Sports Betting Picks Today: Monday December 9th NBA, College Basketball, NFL Predictions
Sunday was as hectic as it gets.
Twenty-four NBA teams were in action to complement a loaded NFL slate; college basketball was scattered throughout the afternoon and early evening, and we also got a healthy dose of hockey just to keep us on our toes.
Having a short memory was easy. Come up empty on one bet, and you could have seen that money—and then some—back in your pocket 30 minutes later.
That won’t be the case on Monday.
Aside from a meeting between the Cincinnati Bengals and Dallas Cowboys, there isn’t a lot out there to start the week, meaning you’re really going to have to pick your spots. Here are three picks we like on what’s bound to be a quiet Monday:
Cincinnati Bengals at Dallas Cowboys
Disrupting the passing game has been anything but easy for Cincinnati as of late.
The Bengals have surrendered nine touchdowns through the air over their past three games, most recently letting Russell Wilson throw for three scores to lead the Pittsburgh Steelers to a 44-38 win on Dec. 1.
Dallas quarterback Cooper Rush is no Joe Montana, but he should be able to find some daylight against a Cincinnati secondary that has been getting shredded all season. The Bengals allow 241.0 passing yards per game, with only five teams in the entire league surrendering more.
Cowboys wideout CeeDee Lamb hasn’t hauled in a TD since Oct. 27, so he’s certainly due for a trip to the end zone. We think that will come on Monday.
The pick: CeeDee Lamb anytime TD scorer, +145 (DraftKings)

New York Knicks at Toronto Raptors
Revenge game incoming.
Toronto guard/forward RJ Barrett will get a shot at the team that shipped him north of the border when the Raptors collide with the Knicks, and the 24-year-old has made some serious steps in the right direction since New York decided to move on from him in December 2023.
Barrett is averaging a career-high 23.3 points per game, and he has gone for over 30 on six occasions this season. He reached the 30-point mark 19 times during parts of five seasons with the Knicks (297 games).
So yeah, this is a guy who is evolving as a scorer. And let’s just hope he continues to do so on Monday. Tread lightly here, but this one is definitely worth a look.
The pick: RJ Barrett to score 30+ points, +425 (DraftKings)

Minnesota at Indiana
We feel like we should leave you with at least one relatively tame play.
Getting into shootouts hasn’t been the Golden Gophers’ MO, as Minnesota is averaging 65.2 points and yielding 62.0 per game.
Yes, the Hoosiers’ offense has been impressive (80.2 points per game on 50.3 percent shooting from the field and 36.5 percent shooting from deep), but we aren’t banking on Indiana being able to pick up the slack for the Gophers. You shouldn’t have to worry about both sides putting up points in bunches.
The pick: Under 140.5 total points, -108 (DraftKings)
