BetBoom Team set for playoffs at FISSURE Universe

BetBoom Team recorded a sweep of AVULUS on Friday to gain momentum heading into the playoffs at FISSURE Universe: Episode 6.

BetBoom secured their lower-bracket quarterfinal clash with PARIVISION on Saturday after posting 48- and 39-minute wins on red.

PARIVISION recorded a 1-1 draw with Team Tidebound on Friday. Tidebound secured a 49-minute win on red before PARIVISION responded with a 58-minute triumph on red.

Also on Friday, Aurora Gaming and Virtus.pro played to a 1-1 draw. Aurora, who will play Team Falcons in the lower-bracket quarterfinal oSaturday, posted a 43-minute win on red before VP responded with a 35-minute win on red.

The 10-team $250,000 Dota 2 online tournament began Tuesday with a round-robin group stage, featuring two groups of five teams playing best-of-two matches. The top team from each group advanced to the upper-bracket final. The second- and third-place teams from each group moved to the lower bracket while the remaining teams were eliminated.

The double-elimination playoffs are Saturday and Sunday. All matches are best-of-three except for the best-of-five grand final.
