Beware The NDSU Bison

We don't mean to imply that there might be something weird happening with the BCS computer rankings, but ... North Dakota State is currently No. 18 in the Sagarin ratings.

We mean not to disparage the Bison, who are currently 6-0 with wins over Sam Houston State, Western Illinois and Mississippi Valley State. But that seems, you know, a bit high. For example: They're one spot ahead of Oregon.

This week the Bison play Minnesota in Minneapolis. The Golden Gophers are not very good this year; we hope this continues to propel the Bison to a BCS title game with South Florida.
