More than any other sport, baseball lends itself to individual blog obsession. Every Major League Baseball team has several blogs obsessed with chronicling the ins-and-outs of everything. Everyone is always quick to blame the Yankees for baseball's economic disparity, but what about the Diamondbacks? Aren't they the team that spent like crazy to get Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling and then, as soon as that team had won a title, sold everybody off and unloaded the team? Isn't that the definition of buying a championship? Isn't that what we claim to hate? How have they gotten away with this? And what's with all the questions, anyway?

3. Random Fandom. This site's good enough that we're gonna forgive the unforgivable sin of quoting a Semisonic song. 2. Out In The Desert. The posts might be somewhat sporadic, but their full of info and analysis. Hard to blame them for shutting down for a while after the D-Backs were inevitably eliminated. 1. AZ Snakepit. Updated daily, with the right mix of wit, pathos and empathy. Wait. That's a good thing; it's better than we just described it.
