Major League Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred made the announcement on Sunday, the game's traditional day, during this year's contest between the Atlanta Braves and Milwaukee Brewers at Journey Bank Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field.
The Blue Jays, first-time participants in the Little League Classic, will be the home team for the 19, 2027 game, with both ballclubs scheduled to attend Little League Baseball World Series games earlier in the day in South Williamsport. Little League players and their families attend the MLB game.
The Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the St. Louis Cardinals 6-3 in the first Little League Classic in August 2017. The annual game also featured the Mets and Phillies (2018), Pirates and Cubs (2019), Guardians and Angels (2021), Orioles and Red Sox (2022), Nationals and Phillies (2023), Yankees and Tigers (2024), Mets and Mariners (2025) and the Braves and Brewers on Sunday night.
