Blue Jays score series win over sliding Red Sox

The home runs came back-to-back in the top of the first against Walker Buehler. It was Barger's ninth home run of the season, and homer No. 12 for Guerrero.
Carlos Narvaez hit his seventh home run for Boston, which has lost seven of its last eight games. The Red Sox received two hits from rookie Roman Anthony, who has five hits in his last two games.
Nathan Lukes collected two hits and an RBI for Toronto, which won twice in the three-game series.
Yariel Rodriguez (2-0) picked up the win for tossing 1 2/3 innings of scoreless relief after starter Eric Lauer exited the game with one out in the fifth. Jeff Hoffman struck out the side in the ninth to record his 18th save.
Buehler (5-6) took the loss after he allowed four runs on four hits in four innings. He walked three and struck out three.
After Toronto went in front 2-0 on the home runs by Barger and Guerrero, Narvaez homered in the bottom of the second to cut the Blue Jays' lead in half. The Red Sox tied the game later in the second when Trevor Story singled, stole second and scored on Ceddanne Rafaela's double.
The Blue Jays took a 4-2 lead by scoring twice in the fourth. Andres Gimenez drove in Lukes with a single to break the tie, and then Ernie Clement scored on a bases-loaded walk to Tyler Heineman.
Toronto extended its advantage to 5-2 when Lukes drove in Bo Bichette with a single in the fifth.
Boston was back within two runs after Nick Sogard scored on a double by Romy Gonzalez to make it 5-3 in the fifth, but that ended the scoring.
