Bob Bradley Becomes First American Manager To Win Premier League Game
With a 5-4 Swansea City victory over Crystal Palace, Bob Bradley became the first American manager to win a game in the Premier League.
The winning goal came in stoppage time from Fernando Llorente, his second of the day. After getting out to a 3-1 lead, Swansea City fell behind 4-3 but fought back to get the victory.
Bradley became the first American to manage a Premier League team when he was hired in October, coming from the Le Havre of France’s Ligue 2, and he was winless in his first five games with Swansea City. He previously managed the American national team from 2006 to 2011.
