Brewers romp past Orioles for 3rd straight win

Gary Sanchez and William Contreras also homered for Milwaukee, which has won three straight, and former Oriole Joey Ortiz had three hits. Adames finished a triple short of the cycle.
Brewers star Christian Yelich left the game in the middle of the second inning with lower back discomfort. He singled in the top of the first, raising his batting average to .333.
Peralta (2-0) allowed a run on five hits. He struck out 11 without a walk and his earned run average after three starts is 2.55.
Top prospects Jackson Chourio of the Brewers and Jackson Holliday of the Orioles, both 20, matched up for the first time. Chourio went 0-for-6 with three strikeouts. Holliday was 0-for-3 with three strikeouts and is 0-for-11 to start his career.
Colton Cowser hit his third homer in two days and doubled for Baltimore.
Baltimore starter Tyler Wells (0-2) gave up four runs on six hits in four innings.
Rhys Hoskins doubled with one out in the second and Sanchez homered to left on an 0-1 pitch for his first hit of the season. Andruw Monasterio walked and scored on a triple by Ortiz to make it 3-0.
In the Milwaukee third, Adames doubled, went to third on a fly out and scored on a single by Hoskins.
Cowser homered leading off the bottom of the fourth to make it 4-1.
Milwaukee broke it open against reliever Jonathan Heasley in the fifth. Contreras led off with a walk and Blake Perkins singled. Adames deposited a 1-0 fastball into the first row of seats in left and the lead was 7-1.
Ortiz singled leading off the sixth and, after Chourio struck out, Contreras homered to make it 9-1. Later in the inning, Adames and Orioles catcher James McCann had words at home plate and both benches and bullpens cleared, but nothing more came of it. Adames singled and later scored.
