No reason was given for his decision to drop out. Ben Silverman of Canada replaced him in the field.
The five-time major champion is on track to miss the FedEx Cup playoffs in his first year back on the PGA Tour. Koepka entered this week 84th in the points race, with only the top 70 qualifying for the playoffs after the Wyndham Championship concludes Aug. 9.
Koepka will need to finish highly at the Wyndham in order to crack the top 70.
Koepka, 36, has one top-10 finish this season in 15 tour starts, a T9 at the Cognizant Classic on March 1. He spent 2022-25 with LIV Golf before choosing to accept a pathway back to the PGA Tour.
