Bruce Maxwell Arrested For Allegedly Pulling Gun On Food Delivery Driver
Photo: Lachlan Cunningham/ [object Object] Scottsdale, Arizona police arrested Oakland Athletics catcher Bruce Maxwell at his home Saturday night and charged him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after he allegedly pulled a gun on a food delivery driver. TMZ first reported the arrest late Saturday night.
Maxwell made news in 2017 as a rookie with the Athletics when he became the first player in Major League Baseball to kneel or otherwise demonstrate against police brutality and racial injustice during pregame national anthem ceremonies.
