Montreal's Dale Weise flicked in the game-winner on a pass from Daniel Briere for a 5-4 Canadiens win, giving the Habs the first game of the series against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The Canadiens' victory ruined Steven Stamkos's two-goal night. He scored a coast-to-coast beauty in the second period.
