Canucks Goalie Loses His Glove, Makes A Barehanded Save
Vancouver Canucks goalie Jacob Markström lost his blocker glove during Monday night’s game against Winnipeg, and still prevented Jets winger Marko Daňo from scoring a goal.
Markström’s glove fell off during play, and since he didn’t have time to put it back on, he followed the puck with one unprotected hand. He made a stop at the line just in time and avoided having his hand turned to mush:
Because Markström plays for the Canucks, his effort didn’t matter in the long run. The Jets scored five goals as they won, 5-2.
