Cardinals LT D.J. Humphries done with torn ACL

Arizona Cardinals stalwart left tackle D.J. Humphries will miss Week 18 and a good chunk of the 2024 season after tearing his ACL.
Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon told reporters Wednesday that Humphries is headed for injured reserve.
"It's tough to swallow, truthfully," Gannon said.
Humphries, 30, sustained the injury in the second half of Arizona's stunning upset at Philadelphia last week. He was replaced by Kelvin Beachum, who figures to get the start in Sunday's season finale against Seattle.
Humphries started all 15 games he played in this season and in fact, has started all 98 games he's played in Arizona since the Cardinals selected him No. 24 overall in the 2015 draft.
Humphries signed a three-year, $51 million extension with Arizona in August 2022.
The Cardinals (4-12) finish the season at home vs. the Seahawks (8-8). The Cardinals can play spoiler; the Seahawks need a win or tie and some help to qualify for the postseason. A loss knocks Seattle out of contention.
