Mandatory Credit: Bob DeChiara-Imagn Images Seven Celtics scored in double figures, and Boston shot a blistering 24-of-52 from 3-point range to cruise to its 11th win in the last 12 games, 124-90 against the visiting Washington Wizards on Sunday.
Payton Pritchard's 20 points led the balanced scoring performance for Boston (58-20), which continued to add to its NBA record-setting season from beyond the arc.
Derrick White, who finished with 19 points, knocked down 5 of 9 attempts from deep, doing his part to build on the mark for most 3-pointers made in a season that the Celtics broke on Friday in a win over Phoenix.
Seven Boston shooters made multiple 3-point attempts on Sunday, including Pritchard and Sam Hauser each with four off the bench. Hauser scored 18 points.
Jaylen Brown (two 3-pointers) scored 15 points, Jrue Holiday (3-of-5 from long distance) added 13 points to go with his seven rebounds and five assists, and Al Horford knocked down 3 of 8 beyond the arc on the way to 11 points.
Horford also joined Luke Kornet recording double-doubles. Horford grabbed 10 rebounds, while Kornet went for 13 points and hauled in 14 rebounds.
Boston overwhelmed last-place Washington (17-61) from the opening whistle, scoring the game's first eight points.
The Celtics' advantage swelled to 21 points by halftime before the Wizards briefly pulled within 15 early in the third quarter.
Boston answered Washington's brief push with a 28-8 deluge, fueled by a 19-0 run.
The Celtics hit six 3-pointers during the decisive surge, including two from Baylor Scheierman.
Washington's 35-of-86 (40.7 percent) shooting, including 12-of-45 (26.7 percent) from 3-point range, were no match for Boston's torrid offensive pace.
Alex Sarr, who led the Wizards with 16 points, shot 2-of-9 from long range. Jordan Poole also went 2-of-9 from beyond the arc en route to 15 points.
Justin Champagnie, who went 3-of-5 from deep, scored 15 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Bub Carrington added 14 points and dished six assists in Washington's fifth loss over its last six games.
