Chantelle Cameron jolts Mikaela Mayer, unifies super welterweight titles

Chantelle Cameron became the unified WBA, WBC and WBO super welterweight world champion by earning a unanimous decision over Mikaela Mayer on Saturday in Birmingham, England.

Cameron (23-1, 8 KOs) outpointed Mayer by scores of 97-93, 97-93 and 96-94 in the 10-round bout.

Mayer, from Las Vegas, fell to 22-3 with 5 KOs.

In the co-main event, Caroline Dubois (14-0-1, 5 KOs) successfully defended her WBC and WBO lightweight world championships with a unanimous decision victory over Amelia Moore (4-1, 1 KO) from Colorado.

Dubois, from South London, outpointed Moore by scores of 99-90, 99-90 and 98-91.

Also on Saturday, Reina Tellez of San Antonio (14-1-1, 5 KOs) defeated Jessica Barry (10-2, 2 KOs) on points (96-94) in a 10-round featherweight bout.
