Mandatory Credit: Nathan Ray Seebeck-Imagn Images Charlotte FC signed English defender Harry Toffolo through the 2028 season with an option for 2029, the team announced Tuesday.
Toffolo, 29, became a free agent following the 2024-25 Premier League campaign with Nottingham Forest.
"Harry is a very experienced defender that fits the profile we were looking for as a long-term solution at the left back position," general manager Zoran Krneta said. "His wealth of playing experience in England's Premier League, the world's most competitive league, and leadership as a player will help bolster our defense as we prepare for the end of this season and beyond."
Toffolo has tallied 17 goals and 43 assists in 326 career matches since 2014, including stints with England's Lincoln City (2018-20), Huddersfield Town (2020-22) and Nottingham Forest (2022-25).
