Team Liquid and 100 Thieves also posted victories to move within one game of the co-leaders at 4-2. Eight teams are competing through Monday in positioning play -- a round-robin format in which each team plays the other seven once. Each match is one map and the results will determine Groups A and B for the group stage, which begins Saturday and runs through May 18.
Following the group stage and one week of cross-group battles, the top six teams will advance to the best-of-five, double-elimination playoffs on May 24-June 15. The total prize pool is $160,000, with $80,000 going to the winner and $40,000 to the runner-up. The winner also receives entry into the Mid-Season Invitational and the winner and runner-up qualify for the Esports World Cup.
