Colorado star WR/CB Travis Hunter (shoulder) getting healthier

Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter is making progress from his right shoulder injury, and Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders is expecting him to play a bigger role against visiting Cincinnati on Saturday.
Hunter has missed the second half of each of Colorado's past two games. He initially hurt the shoulder against Kansas State on Oct. 12 and missed the second half, then reaggravated the shoulder during the first half of last weekend's game against Arizona before again sitting out the second half.
"Travis is better than last week," Sanders told reporters on Tuesday. "I think he'll have more productivity because he's feeling much better than last week. As you could just tell with his little giddy-up and the way he goes about life, a little more pep in his step today.
"I think he did some conditioning today for sure to make sure he's on point with his conditioning because he never tires and we want to keep that what it is. But I think he will certainly contribute a lot more than he did a week ago because he's healthier."
The Heisman Trophy candidate reportedly played 41 snaps on offense and 13 on defense in the 34-7 road victory over Arizona.
Hunter is Colorado's top wideout and leads the squad with 51 receptions for 604 yards. He has six touchdowns, one behind team leader LaJohntay Wester.
As a cornerback, Hunter has two interceptions, one forced fumble and 18 tackles.
