Commanders WR Terry McLaurin (quad) uncertain for Week 4

Mandatory Credit: Geoff Burke-Imagn Images Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin's health is a question mark for Washington entering Week 4.
Washington coach Dan Quinn offered few details on McLaurin's quadriceps injury that forced him to exit the game Sunday in the third quarter. ESPN reported on Tuesday that McLaurin was seeking additional opinions on the injury, which appeared to happen on a dive toward the endzone at the end of a 56-yard catch in Washington's 41-24 win over Las Vegas.
McLaurin has 10 catches for 149 yards this season.
The Commanders are due to update injury information on Wednesday and issue an early practice participation report after their first practice of Week 4 ahead of their game at Atlanta.
McLaurin stayed on the sideline in uniform after his diving TD attempt was overturned via replay last week. The long gain was originally ruled a touchdown.
McLaurin hasn't missed a start since 2020 and has a streak of 72 consecutive games played.
He entered the season with little on-field preparation following a protracted holdout that ended Aug. 25 when he signed a three-year contract extension.
His status for the Commanders (2-1) will be closely watched along with other injury updates from Quinn on Wednesday. Quarterback Jayden Daniels (knee) and wide receiver Noah Brown (groin) did not play last week.
McLaurin, a third-round pick in 2019, has 470 career receptions for 6,528 yards and 38 touchdowns.
