Connor McDavid had two goals and Jack Roslovic scored 56 seconds into overtime to help the Edmonton Oilers rally for a 5-4 win over the visiting Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday.

Roslovic, the Columbus native and former Blue Jacket, lifted a backhand by Jet Greaves on a breakaway for the OT winner.

Jake Walman had two goals and an assist and Roslovic also had an assist for the Oilers, who snapped a three-game losing streak. Stuart Skinner made 15 saves.

Adam Fantilli and Boone Jenner each had a goal and an assist, and Jet Greaves made 19 saves for the Blue Jackets, who have lost four straight (0-3-1).

Walman pinched and put a flutter shot from low in the left circle over Greaves' right arm to tie it 4-4 at 19:02.

McDavid narrowed the deficit to 4-3 at 13:39 of the third period. He drove down the right side and then cut to the net and slid it by Greaves' right skate.

Ivan Provorov gave the Blue Jackets a 1-0 lead at 11:42 of the first period, taking a pass from Damon Severson at the blue line and quickly firing a snap shot that beat a screened Skinner on his glove side.

Walman tied it 1-1 at 17:28. Vasily Podkolzin rimmed the puck up the right wall to Walman at the point, and the defenseman snapped a rising shot that went over Greaves and under the bar.

Monahan struck at 1:39 of the second period to put Columbus ahead 2-1, jumping on a rebound in front and sliding a backhand under the goalie's left pad.

Jenner redirected a feed from Dante Fabbro at the top of the crease to make it 3-1 at 18:02.

McDavid pulled Edmonton within one when he spun around Denton Mateychuk and roofed a backhand from the inner side of the right circle 58 seconds into the third period.

Fantilli pushed it to 4-2 at 4:19. With the teams skating 4-on-4, Kirill Marchenko collected a loose puck, toe-dragged through two Oilers, and dished a backhand pass to Fantilli down low, where he snapped it by Skinner.
